The program assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard.

WHO WILL NEED TO TAKE THIS COURSE?

Any individual or employee who has a reasonable anticipation of contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials as a result of performing designated job duties such as:

Healthcare Workers

Adult Residential Care Personnel

Dentists, Dental Aids

Lab Technicians

Phlebotomists

Housekeepers/Janitors of Healthcare Facilities

Employees Designated to Render First Aid

MORE COURSE INFORMATION

The Instructor will provide safety equipment, fire pan, fuel, and extinguishers. Upon completion of the training, each participant will earn a certificate.

Certification Period: May not exceed 12 months from class completion dates

Training Time: 2 hours
